Every athlete and parent/guardian of that athlete are required to read and agree to follow this code of conduct
We understand that this code of conduct defines what is expected as a Saginaw Strider participant and as a parent/guardian or counselor of an athlete in the Saginaw Striders Track Club (SSTC) program.
We understand that failing to follow the code can result in disciplinary action.
We shall follow this code of conduct and always conduct ourselves as worthy representatives of the Saginaw Striders Track Club.
We will maintain high standards of moral and ethical conduct that include self-control and responsible behavior. Both athletes and parents must display courtesy and good manners and consider the physical and emotional well-being of others.
We will not swear, use abusive language, or display disruptive behavior, including behavior that is dangerous to self or others, including acts of violence, harassment and physical or sexual abuse.
We will not carry, store, or consume alcoholic beverages, tobacco (in any form), narcotics, and/or drugs (including look-alike drugs), illicit drugs (marijuana; tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); synthetic cannabinoids), and any illegal substances when participating in or attending any sanctioned activities, including training/practice sessions, competition events, end-of-season parties, or social events.
We will abstain from all illegal activity.
We will not smoke while participating in or attending any Saginaw Striders sponsored or sanctioned, including training/practice sessions, conpetition event, end-of-season parties or SSTC social events.
As an athlete, I will follow the rules of competition. We understand this code of conduct and what is expected of me as a Saginaw Strider athlete and as a parent/guardian or counselor of a Saginaw Striders Track Club athlete.
